Reception
All conference participants are welcome to a reception
sponsored by the Canadian Embassy of Greece and Edinburgh University
Press. The reception will take place at the Athens University History Museum, otherwise
known as Palio Panepistimio or Oikia Kleanthous (5 Tholou Street,
Plaka, tel. 210-3689500). Time: 19.30-23.00.

Banquet
On Sunday evening, 26th April, between 21.30 and 24.00, there will be a banquet at the Kafeneion Oraia Hellas, Mitropoleos 59, Monastiraki, tel. 210-3211131. Directions as to how to get to the resaturant will be provided at registration. The price for participants is 20 Euros.
Cultural Excursion
An excursion to the sites
of Ancient Corinth, Mycenae, the City of Nafplion and the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus may be possible, depending on participation, on Monday April 27, for the approximate price of 25 Euros (coach + tour
guide) (departure time: 8.30
a.m., return to Athens: 8.30 p.m). The entrance fee to
the archaeological sites will be an extra 20 Euros (6+8+6). You should also consider

The 25 Euros should be paid the first day of the conference during registration.
